This Is A Frankenstein Golf With An Audi Engine, Porsche Suspension And Lambo Style Rear Diff

In a never ending fight to create something even more astonishing on four wheels we are witnessing an ever increasing number of amazing tuning projects that prove the genuineness of the human mind. The latest comes from the magicians from Canada – Quebec, who took an old Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk1, removed all the stuff from it, strengthened up the chassis and started a project that seems unreasonable.

Trying to fit an Audi S4 4,2 liter V8 engine at the front, DM Motorsport from Canada figured out that the space required for it was simply non-existent. As persistent as they are, DM Motorsport technicians and engineers came out with a solution. They removed the back seats and integrated the engine at the back thus making the Golf a mid-engined supercar with a V8 behind. The amount of modifications is astonishing. First of all, only the body and the shell of the Golf were used. The rear axle setup and suspension is actually taken from the Porsche 996 911, as well as all the trimming inside. Furthermore, the Golf received wider tracks, widened fenders, new roll bars and basically everything else. So, this Golf has an Audi V8 engine, Porsche suspension and Lamborghini style axle which sticks out of the back.
The engine inside is a 340hp monster which is going to be additionally powered up by the installation of the turbochargers. The power could double in an instant. Finally, as it is a RWD car, this Golf can do some incredible stunts like donuts, drifting and burning up all that rubber. We can not wait for the Turbos.
