This is another magnificent creation by Chevrolet where they tame their supercars to be mean and aggressive monsters on the race tracks. SEMA show is up for a treat as an additional brilliant creation is to be seen on the car fest for their visual pleasure. This is the Z06X concept where the Corvette Z06 is retuned to bring out all its potential. This new creation is jam packed w/ aerodynamic components and body kits with weight reducing materials for optimum performance.
The Z06x concept’s body components is specifically designed to maximize downforce to let it stick more on the road and make this monster more agile and responsive. This is painted in a metallic icy white color with carbon fiber body panels which includes an adjustable rear wing, front splitter, roof panels and a carbon fiber raised hood. Its headlamp housing is also made of lightweight material which is made by Specter Werkes/Sports. To better reduce the weight a polycarbonate shatter resistant window was also used on its rear.
For the heart of this gorgeous beast an LS7 7.0 liter V8 engine was installed and this is paired with a Tremec six speed manual gear box. They also used a high capacity radiator with an enhanced cooling system…and these people from Chevy just wouldn’t stop, there is also a new adjustable stabilizer bar that was also in placed in the Z06X concept. To give a stunning stance a lightweight 19 inch racing wheels was set up on the front while 20 inches were placed on the back all wrapped in Michelin tires.
