2011 Hyundai Curb Concept

This is one cross over that you’ll never forget!  And it’s not a Porsche, Benz or a BMW…it’s a Hyundai.  Yes, you read it correctly… it’s from the Korean car makers and they are now slowly turning heads with their brilliant creations.  Their new introduction with their concept line ups is the 2011 Hyundai Curb Concept.  The numbers are now revealed and just by the looks of it, it can already give you a smile.

This is fitted with state of the art technology and just to name a few, the rear hatch has a swipable touch pads eliminating the use of any door handles.  The roof has a pop up rack that goes up with a push of the button, the exhaust tips even has a bit of gadgetry as a bike rack can slowly emerge with the touch of your fingertips.

This has the same wheelbase with the Tucson measuring 103.9 inch but this is a lot narrower, shorter and three inches lower.  It is also fitted with colossal 22 inch wheels. This was made to make it more appealing to the younger generation.

Powering the Curb Concept is a turbocharged GDI 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine paired to a Direct Shift Gearbox.  This develops 175 bhp with 169 lb ft of torque. With its Idle Stop and Go technology, fuel consumption is seen at 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.
