US customers didn’t get the newest Chrysler 300 SRT8. Amazingly, they’ll probably pass it altogether, but that doesn’t mean that the Australians will be left out in the desert without proper American muscle. This is the 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT and it is the most outrageous representation of the 300 SRT of all times. Although it isn’t radically different in comparison with the 300 from before, this new 300 SRT has much more advanced tech. With LED daytime running lights, new bodykit and 20 inch wheels, this V8 powered beast is now much modernized and in line with modern cars. For some, interior layout is more important and this is where the new Chrysler 300 SRT received a digital instrument cluster, sport seats and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display.
This is the equipment needed by any driver of today. However, some of them want the real stuff too. For them, the 300 SRT received the well known 6,4 liter V8 engine developing 470 HP and 469 lb ft of torque. This is a lot of power for a lot of a car and it definitely makes the 300 become a real muscle car in line with the best from the US.
While we do not really know what all the power in such a huge car can do performance-vise, we are quite certain Chrysler succeeded to make it go to 60 in about 5 seconds and make it top 155 mph. As it is available only in 16 countries in the whole world (USA not included), the 300 SRT could become a collectible. Think about it, in 20 years time the Americans will want it more than ever.
