When Lamborghini revealed the successor of the Gallardo – the Huracan, we were not convinced it will live up to the hype the Gallardo certainly brought upon us. However, initial tests, the looks and an ever growing number of berserk tuning jobs on it made us think about it a bit – the Huracan is a worthy successor to the massively popular Gallardo and the latest tuned version created by VF Engineering proves this once and for all. This is a $35 grand tuning job which includes supercharging the mighty 5.2L V10 and getting it to more than 800hp. In a perfectly executed car with precise steering, four wheel drive and invigorating transmission, the 800hp engine works flawlessly.
Our host from TheSmokingTire got it on some canyon roads somewhere in the US and after trashing the car a bit, the only conclusion he could draw is that this animal warps space and time with its speed. Insanity shown is next to idiocy. Apparently, this is the speed limit at which cars should be allowed on public roads. Any faster and the speed would cause violations of the biological and physical capabilities of human beings.
To put the things into perspective, we will just say that this thing should accelerate to 60 in 2,3 seconds (the same as expected for the upcoming Bugatti Chiron) and it will not pan out of speed long after 200 mph. Just watching this thing go at these speeds through the canyons could make you dizzy. Imagine what would it feel like if you were inside.
