The fifth Gen camaro is a big thing in the US. It is a car that redefined the structure of a modern supercar and the buyers obviously liked it. According to Chevrolet, 500.000 Americans bought the fifth gen Camaro and now the time has come for Chevrolet to release the sixth generation of the highly popular muscle car. Making a video in which they are basically saying thank you to all the customers that purchased the Camaro, Chevrolet shows how astonishingly quick and monstruos their most track ready Camaro Z/28 really is. Interestingly, they’ve even stated that the Camaro is America’s best selling performance car in five years in a row and we can’t argue with that.
The Camaro really is one of the best looking and most appealing modern age muscle cars and while it isn’t as posh as the new Mustang or as mind boggling as the Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Camaro really is an optimum musclecar (if something like that even exists). The movie Chevrolet released, surprisingly does not depict only the Camaro Z/28. At the end, Chevrolet asks us “What will six do?” thus telling us that there is one more generation lurking around. Here, we can even hear it. The famous engine burble is still there, while the camouflaged new car was also thundering down the race track. Maybe, just maybe, the new Camaro will reach the heights of driving perfection the new Mustang tries to bring. The Camaro Gen 6 is shown next to the track specced Z/28, it has the sound, it tells stories and it was filmed on the track. The new one, might be even better than before.
