Information Carnimal receives
Carnimal receives information you choose to provide through the contact form, including your name, email address, enquiry topic, optional Gumroad order reference, and message. The form sends this information to the site administrator by email and does not store a submission copy in the WordPress database.
The hosting and security systems may process technical records needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals. These records are used for operation, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is not loaded until you select Allow analytics. If allowed, Carnimal measures visits, approximate location, device and browser information, pages viewed, internal searches, meaningful reading, and interactions such as selecting the Performance Car Ownership Toolkit checkout link. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation remain disabled.
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser so it can be respected on later visits. Selecting Essential only prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading. Logged-in Carnimal editors are excluded from analytics collection.
Purchases and external services
Toolkit checkout, payment, delivery, refunds, and customer-library access are provided by Gumroad. Carnimal does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Gumroad processes information under its own privacy terms.
Links may take you to other websites. Those services control their own collection and use of information. Commercial and affiliate links will be clearly disclosed where they appear.
How information is used
- Respond to support, correction, privacy, and business enquiries.
- Deliver, operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- Measure useful readership and product interest after analytics consent.
- Meet applicable legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and consumer obligations.
Retention and international processing
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, security, dispute handling, or applicable record-keeping obligations. Service providers such as hosting, email, Google, and Gumroad may process information in countries other than your own.
Your choices and requests
You can change the analytics choice at any time using Privacy choices in the footer. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other action relating to your personal information.
Send a privacy request through the Carnimal contact page. Do not include passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.
