BMW already created a name that can be equated to masterpieces with powerful engines and stunning performance. Their anticipated car will have its debut at the Detroit Auto Show. This will be held in January, 2011 and they will present the 2012 BMW 1 Series M Coupe. By the looks of it, this will be another mean machine ready to take over the streets with obvious dominance.
This coupe will be offered in three color trims; Black Sapphire Metallic, Alpine White and the one seen here is the Valencia Orange Metallic. This was given a lightweight 19 inch alloy wheel in Y spoke design.
For the heart of this performer, they used an all aluminum 3.0 liter inline 6 engine with twin turbo chargers for optimum performance. The engine will be paired to a 6 speed manual transmission. The combination allows this BMW to produce 335 bhp with 332 lb ft of torque. This is said to blast from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds and top speed is unfortunately electronically limited to 155 mph.
The 2012 BMW 1-Series M Coupe will be in sales later in spring next year and will be limited to 2,700 units.
