The Toyota Highlander is another crossover midsize SUV. It has a car-like body and you can compare it to a more beefed up Toyota Camry. The Highlander comes in three trim levels; the base model, Sport and the limited edition. The base model comes on a six speed automatic transmission and has a 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine that can give 187 bhp and 186 lb ft of torque. The Sport and Limited edition has a meaner engine, a 3.5 liter V6 that produces 270 bhp with 248 lb ft of torque. The V6 also comes on a standard five speed automatic. The Sport comes with bigger wheels and a stiffer suspension to be more agile in corners. The Limited edition is more focused on comfort and the interior gives you a more executive-like feeling. The Highlander also has a more expensive eco-friendly version, which focuses on fuel economy, the Highlander Hybrid.
