Audi R8 V10 Coupe has much the same engine at the rear, in the middle as the Lamborghini Gallardo. 5.2-liter V10 with almost 600 hp is exceptional for all sorts of stuff, but it is, as it turns out, the best for tuning. Installing a twin-turbocharger setup, remapping the ECU and fiddling around a bit with other hardware will easily get the engine power to more than 700hp and with all that grunt the Audi R8 becomes faster than many supercars.
This one in the video has a setup like that, but it also has some profound exterior modifications like the special livery, new aero pack, cool yellow front lights and blacked out wheels. With all that much power and a manual setup, this thing can dance – especially on a wet parking lot. The car has been built by HST Turbotuning and it went all crazy on the roads of Austria.
As it turns out, this thing is apparently the first BiTurbo Audi R8 in Austria and it is shown here making awesome donuts, drifts and accelerations in the rain in an industrial area. The owner is so excited about the whole project that his next step will be improving the engine further and increasing its power to more than 1.000 hp. Now, with that much power, it will be able to go as fast as some really fast Lamborghini Gallardo made for standing half-mile racing events.
Drifting all around the parking lot certainly shows off the potential of the mighty machine.
