Melkus is not a traditional name in the auto industry but for those lingering to what they are all about; you’re in the right page! They are a Specialty German marque who will bring to the Top Marque show in Monaco the RS2000 GT and GTS models. Melkus Sportwagen GmbH listed as their official name has made two speed monsters and speed freaks be warned for their beasts are ready to compete in the sport lightweight coupe.
Both of the GT and GTS models are fitted with a 2.0 liter turbocharged power plant but Melkus is still keeping the source of the engine as top secret. They only revealed that this came from a well known car manufacturer.
The GTS is the more aggressive model that can roar to a colossal 345 bhp and blast from 0-100 km\h in just 3.9 seconds. While the GT model still comes with a not so modest 296 bhp that can sprint 0-100 km\h in 4.5 seconds.
These models come with AP performance brakes and adjustable dampers for suspension. This will let Melkus’ creation to achieve a curb weight below the 1,000 kg mark. Its body components is mostly made up of carbon fiber components and with the numbers provided, the RS2000 GT and GTS can’t be left out on and off the tracks.
