What is left to do when you have a lot of money, a lot of real estate and a lot of transportation devices, some of which are called the Ferrari LaFerrari and the KTM 1290 Super Duke R!? Well, you start to play a lot. Here, we have an odd comparison going on – the KTM 1290 Super Duke R goes into a tug of war with none other than the Ferrari LaFerrari. True, everything seems a bit ridiculous, especially considering the power and weight difference, however, with a bit of clever, sophisticated and subtle moves of the KTM rider, things could look better for the KTM.
Ok, the KTM did not win and we are not even surprised, but the fact it holds on so well for so long is quite amazing. The Internet community is not exactly in love with this video as all the dislikes show, but we were quite entertained watching it.
As for the specs of these monsters, they go like this – the Ferrari LaFerrari is a hybrid hypercar. It moves around with a massively powerful 6.3L V12 developing 800 hp working together with a 163hp electric motor. This setup generates more speed than most of us will ever experience. To put things into perspective, let’s stress that Le Mans LMP1 class cars have engines developing this much power.
On the other hand is a quite cool and powerful KTM Super Duke R packing 180hp. Obviously, it cannot win, but watch the video till the end. This KTM made the Ferrari give all it had to come out triumphant.
