The newest set of super powerful muscle cars definitely tickles the mind of any proper gearhead. What to choose!? Vulgar Dodge Hellcat, shouty Camaro or sophisticated Mustang!? This is a difficult question the answer to which is more complicated than anyone could anticipate. Latest versions of these muscle cars are the best ever, really. However, it seems that the Hellcat and the Camaro lost to the Mustang 350R which is not that surprising considering what sort of tuning job was made on the Mustang GT 350R.
As someone in this Jalopnik made Video noted, the Mustang is the race/track car of the three and linking the track with muscle cars was almost impossible to achieve. Now, however, with the magnetorheological damping system, exceptionally well-sorted suspension, Flat-plane crank engine delivering far more than 500 hp and the least weight of them all, the Mustang is like an American way to tell the entire world, “We can make proper fast tack cars too.”
However, the Camaro Z/28 and the Hellcat have some other factors to consider – they are simply ostentatious, flamboyant and incredibly ‘Merican in nature! Isn’t that actually what we like in our muscle cars!? Maybe it is and a final conclusion cannot be made after watching the six minutes long video where some guys and girls talk about muscle cars. It all depends on one’s preference. However, bear in mind, you cannot really choose wrong in this case. The Hellcat proved so many times that it is one bad mother*ucker we simply cannot find any new words to describe its lunacy and craziness. With 707 hp it is easily the most powerful one. Yet, with a bit of cheap tuning, the ‘Stang and the Chevy would also tickle 700hp.
