Ladies and Gentlemen, this might be the most important Italian car since the Fiat Cinquecento. It is called the Alfa Romeo Giulia, it is the first proper Alfa Romeo in years and it has a Ferrari tuned engine in it. It checks all the boxes for the “driver’s car” and it has the power to prove to everyone that it did not come to play it simple and dignified, but to conquer. The Alfa Romeo Giulia is an all new small executive saloon with a rear wheel drive system, with a V6 engine, turbocharger and 505 HP of power. The magnificence of this car is not only in the details. The magnificence is in the sheer drama of the thing which looks just the business.
It is a looker, it is a car for controversy and the first Italians revealed is the most insane version dubbed the Quadrifoglio. With a Torque Vectoring system, “the most precise steering” in the business, specially tuned DNA system with the Race setting on it and a Start button on the steering wheel this thing should be quite the performer. Not much details have been revealed, but we do know that this 3310 lbs car will accelerate to 62 mph in as low as 3,9 seconds and it’ll do that with a sound only a true Italian race car can produce. Press play here and listen to the amazing sound of the Ferrari tuned V6 engine. It is an all aluminum unit making it possible for Alfa Romeo to make a perfect weight distribution of 50/50 for the Giulia. Also, center of gravity has been lowered thanks to the integration of the carbon fiber roof, bonnet and prop shaft. All of that definitely shows that the Giulia is ready to tackle even the most capable cars of today.
