The fourth five-minute video depicting the development and the Rebirth of an Icon, the Ford Focus RS, is online and this time we get to the really good stuff (not the crashing again). Not only did Ken Block made it all good and aggressive for the masses. Ken Block is the first person who got the chance of driving the new Focus RS outside the closed circuit of Ford employees. He is directly responsible for its handling and its hard testing on the track where the new Focus RS with the four-wheel drive and a whole lot of power excelled like no other similar car.
Testing the car in the Ford top secret test track, Ken Block found out that the car can actually do some things no other car can do while drifting. Thanks to specially calibrated four-wheel drive setup, the new Focus RS is capable of making awesome slides while at the same time placing its power on the road and accelerating at enormous speeds. Such behavior is usually a characteristic of the racing Rally cars and now a road car has this feature.
Of course, full potential of the 350hp machine and complex four-wheel drive system can be utilized only by the best drivers out there. Ken Block is one of them and he had a go in it right in the development process. Awesome.
