As insane as that Dodge Omni from the day before was, Europe still has something even more ridiculous to show. This is the Boba Motoring Golf II and it is the fastest Golf II of all time. One of the most popular cars in Europe received an awesome tuning package making the normal, rather dull Golf II a car which can beat even the best of supercars of today (is it faster than 16Vampir).
By installing a two-litre turbocharged engine, new transmission, 4Motion four wheel drive and a whole lot of new suspension equipment, the Germans succeeded in making this Golf an insanely magnificent machine with the power to put the mighty Bugatti Veyron SS to shame. How powerful is this thing you ask!? Well, with a large 64 psi turbocharger and E85 racing fuel, the Boba Motoring Golf II engine can crank out 1.233 HP. The results are simply awesome.
Press play and simply enjoy the magnificence of the most notorious Golf of all time. The four-wheel drive is a necessity here. To transfer all the power to the wheels, Boba Motoring integrated an all-new set of special drag tires. In addition, the transmission was thoroughly reworked and the construction received a whole lot of reinforcement to keep up with everything the engine can deliver.
At last, the time. The awesome Golf II, which is actually road legal, achieved a ¼ of a mile pass in sick 8,99 seconds dramatically killing of anything that tries to outdo it. Performance Box data don’t lie. This is what they’ve captured: 0-100km/h in 2.3s, 100-200kmh in 3,03s and 200-250km/h in 2,5s.
