The Subaru Impreza WRX STI was born from the rally tracks and now it will again be free on the roads in 2011. The WRX STI still carries its heritage of being a performance car but Subaru also made sure that this will be a versatile all around car. It’s a five door sedan or hatch and can go menacingly quick over the tracks and offers so much power that you can accelerate with ease. The body design of the WRX STI is not that sporty looking compared to its rivals (Mitsubishi Evo, Mazdaspeed , Mazda RX8) but don’t let that fool you because this little monster can zoom past by its competitors, either on a straight line or in a sharp winding road. The interior is well built and fitted with quality materials and front seats are designed to give a comfortable grip in aggressive driving.
The Subaru Impreza WRX STI receives its enormous power from a 2.5 liter intercooled and turbocharged 16 valve Boxer engine. The engine can produce a vigorous 305 bhp with 290 lb ft of torque and it’s connected to a six speed manual transmission. The WRX STI is a car that can be both docile and thrilling at the same time and that only depends on how you put your feet on the throttle!
