Sportec already introduced their successor to its Sportec SPR1 R at the Geneva Motor Show and as expected this was one of the highlights of this prestigious auto show. Their new creation is hailed as the Sportec SPR1 FL which is based on the facelifted 997 Porsche 911 Turbo.
There a few changes done with this monster like a new semi sequential gear box, modified rear bumper, revised side mirrors and unique headlights. One disappointing thing though with this new creation is that power output is roughly the same as its predecessor. Isn’t it were introducing something new because we want something better?… well the Sportec SPR1 FL is still massive in its own right and maybe power is not their concern at the moment.
This beast still shouts a staggering 846 bhp with 649 lb ft of torque which is a slight increase compared to its little brother who has 641 lb ft of torque. This will skyrocket from 0-100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds races to 200 km/h in 9.7 seconds. Max speed is reached at 380 km\h or equivalent to 236 mph.
The moniker “FL” was given because of its new smooth flow intake manifold having two injectors for very chamber. Its six cylinder 3.6 liter twin turbo inline engine is helped out by a Carbon Ram Air intake system with two hybrid turbo chargers and a high performance intercooling system.
