DeZir is a concept car by Renault that will show its debut on October at the Paris Motor Show. The car is elegantly designed and was molded by Renault’s new design director Laurens Van Den Acker. It’s astonishment when it comes to the design category and it is said that there will be more revelation to what is ahead of us with their new design chief.
DeZir is actually an electric car and Renault is proving that gone are the days of boring, sluggish and slow battery powered car. This concept car is an eye catching piece of art and shows a unique gullwing scissor doors with slim LED headlights.
This concept car is powered by a 24kwh lithium ion battery that can reach 100 miles at full charge. Using a three phase charger this car can be fully charged in only under an hour, regular charging may take up to 8 hrs. The motor has a power of 110kw that can harness 167lb ft of torque and this can do a 0-62 mph in 5 seconds, which is really impressive considering that it’s not run by petrol.
Let’s just hope that if a car manufacturer will produce a super hot concept car, someday they will also have it in mass production.
