What is it like to drive a GT-R!? Well, whether on track or on the road it is quite awesome, however, what are the costs of running and owning one!? Marchettino bought his own Nissan GT-R a few months ago and now he is giving us a glimpse into his expenses of the GT-R. They are simply outrageous. Nissan GT-R is a beast and Italy, although being a country of supercars, is not exactly the best place to own a supercar in. The taxes are insane and the GT-R maintenance rather incredible. After all, this is a heavy car, low, massively powerful and amazingly sophisticated. Marchettino did the best to make the GT-R drive possible. He found all the best partners and sponsors so he got a chance to have his own first supercar.
As a refresher, the Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8 L, six-cylinder engine capable of producing more than 550 HP. 2017 version was recently introduced, but even the cars from before are astonishingly fast and supercar credible.
The most important thing about any Nissan GT-R is the fact that all of them can be retuned and powered up. Marchettino did not make any engine mods, but he did change the brakes, wheels and added a rather tacky vinyl wrap. The car looks good, no question there, but is not Italian-supercar good.
Nevertheless, here you can see how expensive is it to own a supercar or any high-powered sports car in Italy.
