Bugatti Chiron is out, but we are not exactly all familiar with it. Yes, we know about the Chiron’s engine, incredible power, and all other numbers, but the real essence comes from the smells inside the cabin, the sound of its incredible 16 cylinder engine and feel it gives to the drivers every time someone presses that gas pedal. Now, with this video we are one small step closer to revealing just how bonkers the Chiron really is. Apparently filmed in Austria, this video finally shows us what the Chiron sounds and looks like during a drive. Ok, the dealer just unloads it from the truck, but even the sound of its engine at low revs, when fired up for the first time, is sinister, to say the least. Finally, Bugatti gave the Chiron the sound the Veyron always lacked.
As a refresher, we’ll remind you that Bugatti is about to produce 500 units of the Chiron, with more than 120 of them already sold. The car has a rather peculiar exterior look and a truly amazing interior with all sorts of top grade materials including titanium.
As fascinating as all this might sound, the fact is that the engine in the Chiron is its most amazing feature. With four turbochargers the eight-liter 16 cylinder monster goes around with incredible 1.500hp. That is more than enough to accelerate it to 62 in less than 2,5 seconds and to make the thing speed in excess of 260 mph. While these are official data, we are quite sure the Chiron can deliver even more. It definitely is the fastest and the saddest vehicle you could possibly imagine or buy. But the latter is highly unlikely as the unit costs $2.4 million.
