NOVITEC ROSSO has their hands on a Ferrari once again and it’s another luxurious creation from the masters. This has close similarity to their previous creation of the Ferrari California which is known as the Race 606. This new piece of art is named as the NOVITEC ROSSO Ferrari 458 Italia and still exudes elegance and luxury. Its white paint job gives an impression of athleticism at its pure state. This beast debuted at Geneva Motor Show.
Its development started at the University of Stuttgart using their wind tunnel to further improve its aerodynamics. The body kit are made of carbon fiber which includes side skirts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, mirror housings, lower spoiler,ventilation louvers, wing flaps and fenders. The hood and roof panel is also improved with carbon fiber material to further lessen its weight.
The heart of the Italia 458 is a 4.5 liter V8 engine and it is now tuned by remapping its ECU system, installing a new carbon fiber airbox, sports exhaust manifolds, sport catalyst and a nickel chromium based Inconel exhaust system. The result is a roaring 609 bhp with 569 Nm of torque. This even has a sound control flap on its rear muffler that can be activated with a flip of a switch at the steering wheel. Top speed is now reached at 330 km/h.
