Favourite teen car and favourite car for anyone who wants to trash everything from Ferrari to Pagani without having to drive a Ferrari or a Pagani just reached its latest version. This is the 2017 Nissan GT-R and, as you may imagine, it does not look much different than before. However, the Japanese did improve it – the looks are a bit different, the interior a bit plusher and the engine a bit more powerful. Nissan had a rather interesting philosophy about the GT-R. They have updated it quite a bit every year and for its final model year (probably), the GT-R is 80 hp more powerful than in its first year, but much more refined than ever before.
The changes in comparison with the 2016 Nissan GT-R are visible. A front end is more aggressive, V-shaped grill is much more pronounced, and the rear is far deeper than before.
More important than that is the more refined automatic gearbox. Apparently, owners did have something against it, but Nissan listened and improved the transmission by making it smoother and more refined.
Making sure that the GT-R becomes the best of the best and remains a classic we will all talk about in the years to come, Nissan improved the engine power to 565 hp and 467 lb-ft of torque. It channels it to an all wheel drive and enables acceleration to 62 mph in less than 3 seconds. The latest Nissan GT-R R35 is powerful enough to provide us with all the supercar excitement the gearheads of the world are enchanted by.
