MR Car Design is trying to spice things up with the Volkswagen Golf R. This little compact hatch is often overshadowed by its more powerful and more sleekly styled brother the VW Scirocco. MR Car Design is giving a better competition with the upgrade done on this petite run-around vehicle. This can now show off its under-the-hood prowess with a bit of agility on the side.
Not much of an upgrade is done on the exterior of the Golf R except for the stunning 10 spoke 8.5 x 19 inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/35 tires. Modification is mostly done under the hood to improve muscle output on the road.
The stock 2.0 liter turbo charged engine produces 266 bhp with 258 lb ft of torque. But with the tuning company’s ECU remapping system plus a few other modifications, this can now breathe an enormous 325 bhp with 345 lb ft of torque. This is of course with the help of a revised intercooler and a new sport exhaust system. To improve responsiveness and handling H&R springs was also installed.
With the compact size of the MR Car Design Golf R and the new power it can unleash, this can surely give you a wider grin on the road.
