We have a winner! This may well be the smartest, boldest, most genius and simply the most amazing Mercedes commercial of all time. Picture this! You are a five-year-old kid who loves to play with cars and who loves to crash them one into another. We’ve all done it so you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand the thrill. Now, your father brings you two of the most beautiful, most detailed and most amazing Mercedes diecast cars and the first thing you wanna do is crush them. However, you can’t. The magnetic force simply doesn’t let you crash the cars one into another.
For adults, this may seem rather dumb, but when you think about it, it’s actually awesome. Magnets of the same pole simply repel each other and with a powerful enough magnet in front of the cars, the diecast models are simply uncrashable. At first the kids are trying hard to make a mess of everything, but they can’t and they go berserk doing crazy stuff only kids can think of. Now, after Mercedes demonstrated that their diecast cars are uncrashable, the picture moves to the “real world” and shows two full size Mercedes cars with emergency autonomous braking system online. These, the large ones, can’t crush either – they stop automatically and basically act like the diecast cars these kids had.
