VATH, who is a German tuning company, has unleashed a new Mercedes Benz CL 500 C216 version. They have tamed this beast to produce new madness on the road and give wide smiles to all petrol heads hungry for power.
They have installed a new aerodynamic package that includes a trunk lip spoiler, a rear diffuser and a modified front lip spoiler all made of top notch carbon fiber. This stands on an aggressive forged 20 inch wheels wrapped in 245/30ZR20 tires at the front while 285/25ZR20 at the rear. A high performance braking system was also used with a three way adjustable suspension.
The interior received a classic black carbon fiber trim but can also be given with a multi color carbon with the customer’s request. Optional sport steering wheel is also available to have a more personalized touch.
The heart of this Merc is a 5.5 liter V8 engine that can now roar to a staggering 454 bhp with 442 lb ft of torque tahnks to its revised ECU system, new air filters, stainless steel sport catalyst and new sport camshafts. Its sport exhaust system now has catalytic converters, stainless steel manifolds and a stainless steel silencer.
The speed limiter was also increased to dial up to 290 km/h.
