What would it be like to drift a Nissan Van? Actually any Van? Some did have a go in super powerful vans previously. Remember that V8 Corvette engine powered GMC Vans!? They had some real power inside. Now, however, Nissan is giving a chance to drift their quite nice Cargo Van. The story is actually a tiny bit different than it seems. Chris Forsberg, as one of the best drifters the world has ever seen, was invited to do a drift session with a Nissan 370Z. However, he was more than surprised when an awesome cargo van crashed through the wall and greeted the Pro Drifter.
Cargo Van did an amazing drifting session passing the obstacle course in the style of real MVP. This actually tends to be a sort of April Fool’s Prank, but we do not even care about that part of the video. Just rewind to 30th second and continue watching awesome drifting that Cargo Van is capable of doing. You will be surprised how awesome and fun driving a Cargo Van like this can be. As it is light at the back, this V6 engine can give it enough punch to slay the tires and go all the way sideways at all times. True, a hydraulic handbrake had to be installed, but it seems Nissan did not do anything more than that to prepare the Van for all kind of stuns.
All in all, Chris Forsberg had a whole lot of fun drifting with this awesome Van and after seeing all the obstacles he faced, we are quite surprised the Van survived all the trashing and bashing on the course.
