The name of this car manufacturer maybe new to most car fanatics out there but they are trying to be at the same pace with the other big players. This is Luxgen which is a Taiwanese based car maker and they have unveiled their new creation dubbed as the Neora Concept and will be previewed at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show. This is like a concoction between the Hyundai Sonata and the Chevy Volt featuring a panoramic glass sunroof, LED headlights and a smooth flowing character lines.
The cabin is flushed with wood trims and leather upholstery. It also features an infotainment system showing off a nine inch screen with a head up display. This Concept car is actually an electronic car that is capable of long distance driving on a single charge.
Powering the electric motor of the Neora Concept is a 48 kWh lithium ion battery delivering a powerful 241 bhp. This is a front wheel drive car that can blast from 0-100 km h in 6.5 seconds. Despite its large body design this only weighs 1,600 kg or equivalent to 3,527 lb. The speedometer tips off at 250 km/h.
The car can reach a lengthy distance of 400 km or 249 miles in just one single charge!
