Car vs motorcycle. Four wheels vs two wheels. This comparison has been around for ages and a final result can really never be reached, but here we did come a step closer. Please enjoy the Lamborghini Gallardo racing against the fascinating Kawasaki Ninja H2 (not this one dough). Sure, this is an illegal race held somewhere in the US on a highway at a time when no one was really driving on it.
Nevertheless, the vehicles racing are not exactly stock. Let us start with the Lamborghini.
This is the one tuned by the well known Underground Racing. They usually make cars for high-speed runs – like ½ a mile speed trap competitions. It may seem that this Lamborghini is the one crafted for that purpose. Its V10 engine is highly modified. It has two superchargers, an all new cooling system, adjusted transmission and a number of other upgrades to the drivetrain and the transmission.
The car certainly has the power to reach some incredible speeds, however, the question is can it take on the mighty Kawasaki. This one is not just any Kawasaki. Its engine was massaged and tuned. 200hp rating is increased to 245 hp and 100 lb-ft. We are quite sure it has, even more, power now. Back at the start of the summer, 245 hp was easily enough to make the Ninja hit a quarter of a mile time in 8,34 seconds at 169 hp. However, the real test is about to happen with the illegal rolling start drag race with the aforementioned Lambo.
We won’t tell you the results, but will say that the Lambo engine produces about ten times the power of this tuned Kawasaki Ninja H2. That is some serious power, even for a drag strip. Just imagine how tough is it to control this power on a public highway.
