The Geneva Motor Show is getting worldwide attention with such drooling beast being presented one after the other. The iconic Jaguar is also at the forefront of this auto show and they are ready to unveil their symbolic representation. This is the Jaguar XKR-S which will be their celebrating piece for the 50th anniversary of the E-Type.
This is designed to be the sportiest Jag ever with design cues that will let you know what this auto maker means. This features an aerodynamic side skirts, a mean looking front fascia, LED infused headlights, black mesh grille inserts, a modified front fenders, a prominent rear diffuser and an enormous rear wing.
The muscle of this beast is provided by a 5.o liter V8 engine supercharged to insanity to let it breathe 542 bhp with 501 lb ft of torque. This will allow the XKR-S to blast from 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and 0-100 mph in 8.6 seconds. Top speed is rated at 186 mph.
To make it more athletic on the road and handle like a true sports car, they have reprogrammed the Adaptive Dynamics system and used a bespoke suspension. This will truly be an inspiration to other Jags out there and they made sure that this is a statement with what the company has achieved through the years.
