A different concept car has been introduced by Irmscher to the well known Geneva Motor Show. It’s like having both worlds meet in a single creation. This is named as the Irmscher 7 Turbo Roadster Concept which is retro designed based on the sports car of the 70’s. It’s more closely related to the Caterham and embodies a lovely appeal to its primeval looks. This is actually an electronic sports car having an otherwordly power set on its motor.
The classic look of this Lotus 7 car is given life by its Lithium iron phosphate cells or also known as LiFePo. This is one top notch battery; its liquid cooled and allows thousands of cycle of depleting and recharging capacity and has minimal power loss at low temperatures.
The electric motor is a 144V DC madness that can produce 175 kW or equivalent to 235 bhp with a staggering 590 lb ft of torque. This is the highest torque that can be found today in an electric car… (This is even more powerful than a petrol guzzling sports car).
One full charge of this e-car will reach a distance of 200 km while charging time is set at 3 to 8 hours depending on the capacity of the charger.
