We are sure you’ve seen some crazy stuff over the time, but this Chevelle will stir up your mind once again. As one of the best muscle cars ever created, this particular mighty machine you see in this video has been ridiculously modified to make it look more or less like the perfect dragster. With enormous rear radial tires, nicely done suspension and a V8 engine which is supercharged to perfection, this Chevelle SS is faster than any supercar you ever knew.
The 550 cubic inch engine (or a nine liter engine if you’re unacquainted with the musclecar terminology) in this Chevelle made it go like a dragster. More impressively, the wheelie made by this incredibly monstrous Chevelle SS is as astonishing as the engine in it.
We do not know what kind of power this monstrous machine develops, but we guess it is more than 1.000 HP. It sounds absolutely gorgeous and it just flies over the track.
The Chevrolet Chevelle SS has been produced since 1963 and in the stock form it was available with the 454 cubic inch engine (at best). The iconic status of this car is well known in the muscle car lover communities and its classic looks, large exterior dimensions and simple tech under the metal made it adorned by millions. This modified version just shows what are these cars capable of. Some of them are too fast for the streets and some are just too cool to show up on the drag strip. This one is in the middle. It’s a roadcar with drag race credentials.
