Mate Rimac, CEO of Rimac Automobili, invited a youTuber in his car and showed him what the Concept_One can actually do. This is an awesome video depicting some of the most amazing features of the Rimac Concept_One we did not know about. First of all, Rimac walks us through the whole infotainment system. This is a work of art really. The system enables the driver to manage whole sorts of different things around the car. It is intuitive and it gives the driver the opportunity to choose which wheels will power the car. With a simple touch screen interface, the driver can choose that only the front electric motors power the front wheels, rear e-motors power the rear wheels, or all four power every wheel. Awesome really. Concept:One can be AWD, FWD, and RWD. And all that with a touch of a button – actually with a slide across the screen.
Mate Rimac demonstrated the acceleration of the Concept_One. It can reach 62 mph in 2,6 seconds which is on par with the most amazing supercars of today. What is especially amazing is the fact that car is powered by four electric engines. Every one of them sends power to one wheel and the traction can be adjusted independently. More or less, this is why at all times a different amount of power powers each wheel. On board, telemetry shows all this in great detail giving the driver and the passenger awesome looking characteristics of the car.
With four engines, the Rimac Concept_One disposes of with 1,088 hp and 1180 pound-feet of torque.
The car itself is well put together. The video shows us the interior and it seems all the elements finally fit. It even give out some strange futuristic vibe. The infotainment is surely one of the highlights of the whole car. It gives truly unique opportunities.
All in all, the Rimac Concept_One is a hypercar fast EV with the capacity no other car in the world has.
