Ken Block is well known for his furious Gymkhana movies (or this actually). Now, the new one is definitely in the making with a car he revealed only a few days ago. This is the Ford Escort RS and here you can enjoy a full minute of Ken Block simply shattering the tires of his newest machine. Certainly one of the most aggressive small cars of all times is finely tuned and prepared to attack the Gymkhana track. Ken Block wants us to get to know it well and to prepare our senses for the spectacle that will unfold. The Hoonigan Escort RS is powered by a 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter naturally aspirated Millington engine pushing out 333hp. You think it needs more? Well, it does not! This is a small compact car with a weight of fewer than 2200 lbs. Imagine 333hp with the six-speed sequential gearbox and rear wheel drive pushing that weight. Amazing things can happen.
How amazing!? Well, Ken Block made a burnout of his life in this small car and everything looks so epic you’ll want it to last for hours. It will, at least for minutes, if not for hours as Ken Block will hit the next Gymkhana with it.
Heavily modified 1978 Ford Escort Mk2 RS is based on the racing cars from the Seventies and Eighties. The new hardware on it includes wider fenders, new suspension, and a *hitload of awesome WRC spec parts. It is a runner and a winner. We can hardly wait for the next Gymkhana sometime next year.
