Lighter, faster, better! A new most extreme sports car in its class by Porsche. GT3 RS has no audio, cup holders not even doorhandles. What it has though is a 11kW power gain (331 kW total) and 25kg in weight loss (current weight 1370kg). If you are one of those hardcore car enthusiasts you can request a further weight reduction for your car, by removing air con and the radio, which are standard on Australian models but can be removed at no extra cost. What you get is an extra 40 kilos lighter Porsche.
For extra $20.000 you can request ceramic brakes which are 20kg lighter than standard. Add another $10.000 and you get a couple of lightweight carbon-fiber seats a further 24kg reduction in weight. To shred another 10kg you might want to consider purchasing lithium-ion battery in exchange for you regular lead battery for extra $5000.
GT3 RS looks like a track car inside out with a rear roll-cage as standard. With no door handles you are to use a light weighted pull strap to get into the car. But once you are on the inside the Porsche it’s an awesome drive! It comes with a six-speed manual gearbox requiring an aggressive shift action and tops 300km/h on a speedometer.
