Do you believe that fuel system cleaners you sip in the tank actually work!? Well, if you have got any doubts than this ChrisFix episode could shed some light on the issue and show you just what type of a cleaner you should use, how to apply it and what to expect.
Chris did a great job in providing us with a proper look into the inside of the engine where he filmed the carbon build up on the valves and on the cylinders. You can actually do the same by ordering a simple camera setup from the eBay.
The story goes something like this. The Royal Purple Fuel Max Cleaner claims it will clean a whole lot of carbon build up in the engine just by running it through the system. First of, you should get the filling into an almost empty tank, than fill up half of it. Of course, results should become evident after all the fuel is used and Chris shows us the results of the treatment he did on the V8 engine of the old Ford Explorer.
The treatment actually worked in a way and we guess if you are to use this treatment more than once, the results might be even better. Also, zoom through the ChrisFix channel. The guy did extensive research about many different additives for all sorts of stuff and he published the results without any censorship. You may find some of this thing very helpful.
