You may not have heard the name of this sports car or even heard on who actually built it but good news is that they are offering something spectacular in the auto industry. This sports car is the Fisker Karma made by an American car company called Fisker Automotive.
This is a green car meaning it’s a hybrid, the plug-it type sports car. This green car is not only focused on alternative motoring but they are also centered on how the car performs. This car is powered by a 200kW lithium ion battery to run two electric motors and these can generate 402 bhp with 959 lb ft of torque.
With its electric motors, this car can travel up to 80.5 km then a direct injected 2.0 liter EcoTech gasoline engine kicks in to recharge the batteries and can run another 200 or more miles! These specifications are simply astonishing. The said petrol engine was made by General Motors and this whole creation by Fisker can run from 0-100 km/h in a respectable 5.9 seconds.
The Karma can reach a top speed of 200 km/h with an estimated fuel consumption of a groundbreaking 2.4L to 100 km! With all the good specs and news this car company has released, it will be better to see this car to be out in production.
