This tiny compact car has been roaming the streets of Europe for quite some time now. This has dominated their streets and can be seen on almost every street corner, parking space and sidewalks. The Fiat 500C will now head to New York and hopefully take over the “Big Apple’s” pathways.
Reports have it that this will be unveiled at the New York Auto Show. Though nothing is official as of now, the model will likely have a reinforced body structure, noise reduction modifications and a retuned suspension. It is also anticipated that the New Yorker version will be identical to the European model.
Similar to the coupe, this will be powered by a 1.4 liter MultiAir engine that can produce 101 bhp with 98 lb ft of torque. The heart will be paired to a five speed manual or a six speed automatic transmission.
This car is not built for power and staggering performance, it’s more of a city cruiser driving the streets in style. The Fiat 500C can be a blast as this little car is not a petrol guzzling beast and with soaring oil prices, fuel efficiency is its ace on the table. The car is slated to arrive dealerships later this spring.
