The Ferrari 458 Italia just might be a perfect car. It is fast, ridiculous, extremely aggressive and brutal. And, most importantly, it works flawlessly which cannot be said for some earlier Ferraris. Ferrari revealed every major version of it – we have the Italia, the Spider, the Speciale and the Speciale A, so there is not much left to be unveiled at this point. Now, the aftermarket coachwork steps in to make a few special specimens of this incredible ride.
Take a look at this Ferrari Sergio. It is a tribute car to the Sergio Pininfarina built by the Pininfarina studio. As it is based on that crazy Pininfarina Sergio Concept, the car received aggressive front end with new headlights, full body kit including some specially adopted two tone inserts and a redesigned rear end. We cannot say if it looks good. It surely looks amazing and exclusive but the beauty is in the eye of beholder.
So, what is so amazing about this car?
It is based on the 458 Spider, it is limited to six units and every unit has already been sold. With active aerodynamics, state of the art suspension and customized interior plated with the best leather and the best stitching find in any car, the exclusivity is off the hook here.
The engine inside is a 4,5 liter eight cylinder monster delivering 605 HP. That means that the acceleration to 62 takes three seconds flat while the Ferrari Sergio continues to almost 200 mph.
Vehicle is equipped with special plaques wearing Sergio name and with newly designed wheels. Whatsmore, the famous three exhaust tips were redesigned. Sergio has two exhaust tips at the end. Don’t worry, they look equally impressive as the three tips seen on the usual 458.
