This is a big one! Pennzoil has the custom to greet us with some rather amazing videos. A few months ago we saw their Dodge Challenger enjoying epic hooning in some town in the US, but now, the company and the guys who took the video certainly created something we wanted to see in movies such as the Fast & Furious or the Need For Speed. Driving hard on the streets of Barcelona with a magnificent yellow Ferrari 488 GTB, Rhys Millen did all kinds of atrocities with the 488.
It started all with him entering the car in one of the garages of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. After turning the machine on, the sound editors clearly did an awesome job in translating all the mechanical sounds Ferrari produces to the ears of listeners on YouTube. Every gearshift, every bang in the engine and every skid on the asphalt are enhanced far more than we have seen (actually heard) in any other clip ever created.
The plot follows Rhys Millen’s adventures after he exits the Circuit and enters the city of Barcelona. Apart from exciting footage of the Ferrari 488 GTB, this youtube clip should also be an advertisement for Pennzoil – an American oil company. It is in some strange indirect kind of way, but the truth is that in this clip the Ferrari 488 GTB got promoted better than what their media team could ever pull of. Thanks for the “Joyride Circuit” Pennzoil! Also, give us some more in the future. One guy in the comments suggested F-Type Jag. Imagine it with some kind of GoodToBeBad plot twist.
