Porsche arguably creates the most amazing road going track-ready cars. The 911 GT3 and the GT3 RS are at the pinnacle of this segment but BMW recently created one rather amazing car – the BMW M4 GTS. It is a lightweight, more powerful version of the BMW M4 and it is capable of giving the drivers the ultimate fun on the track. So, how would two of these astonishing German machines stack up against one another.
Numbers can tell. BMW is powered by a three-liter TwinPower Turbo engine with water injection system and with more than 500hp. It has special aerodynamic body-kit made to further enhance the grip and to provide the BMW with some unique features. The car itself is a magnificent piece of engineering with remapped engine, reprogramed damping system, adjusted aerodynamics, better sorted out the suspension and even adjusted transmission.
On the other side of the equation is the awesome Porsche 911 GT3 RS. It is powered by a four-liter boxer engine with more than 500 hp. This thing has already proven itself even against the massively powerful Nissan GT-R. Now, it goes against the BMW M4 GTS on the track. Here, you can see how the two cars perform their tracking duties. These are beasts that even some supercars would have a lot of problems dealing with. Germans did their job properly here.
