Like Porsches!? If you do, keep looking because this is a story about the one of the most amazing aftermarket tuners who takes classic Porsches and makes art. The Singer Vehicle Design, or the man behind the company – Rob Dickinson says that he has been obsessed with the Porsche 911 since his birth. He actually started his professional life as a musician and the main drive behind that decision was the 911. He wanted to make enough money to buy one.
The cars Rob makes are not exactly like those that come straight from the factory. His company, specialized for high-end Porsche creations, works on perfecting old cars and giving them the new life. Stripping the car down to bare bones gives Dickinson a chance to create something to his own liking and to the liking of his customers. The changes he makes are profound. After removing all the exterior panels, the next step is the repair of the whole chassis and architecture. After updating the suspension, engine, tech inside and interior, Dickinson comes to the final part of the modification which includes the addition of the all new exterior carbon fiber panels.
After the procedure, the mighty Porsche 911 comes out from the factory faster, lighter, more appealing, and more reliable than ever before. Recognizing this, Singer Vehicle Design customers are not afraid to pay a premium price for the car. The prices start at more than 200 grand and boy do the cars look good.
