Drifting is an expensive business (see here). If you do not have a proper machine, many pricey bills can pile up, but an even bigger problem is the fact that you need an RWD car for that! Or do you? Could there be a way to drift as much as you’d like without destroying tires, suspension or pretty much anything else and all of that with an FWD car!?
Although this sounds improbable, there is a way to achieve this and you can learn how in this awesome video. The guys did not think of anything too complex. They just used two wooden planks, set then under the rear wheels and activated the parking brake. The rest is history. The plank is far from sticky when in contact with tarmac, so the cars can swirl around and make awesome “drifting”passes at low speed without destroying the suspension, or the tires. Of course, drivers do not have near enough control over the drift like when in a proper RWD car, but this, if nothing, can be a whole lot of fun for everyone.
OK, this is not a new thing for sure, but it is fun. Some are maybe still unaware of this simple life hack. We can call that – everyone wants to drift. Right!?
Nevertheless, this is the safest, cheapest and easiest way to make a car drift on a tarmac. True, we doubt anyone would become a master at drifting after learning on the cars like this, but it is a fun thing to watch and to enjoy if nothing. And the best part about it is that you do not need anything fancy to drift. Will you try it out?
