This is the 2011 Buick LaCrosse and it comes to the market with own class and appeal. This is a four door sedan that has the sense of practicality but still exudes elegance and character. This is their flagship model expected to enter in the luxury sedan class.
The CX is the entry model of this car and comes with an Ecotec motor by GM which is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine and this is mated to a six speed automatic transmission. This combination generates 182 bhp with 172 lb ft of torque and runs on a respectable 30 mpg highway fuel consumption.
There are three trim levels of the Lacrosse; the CX, CXL and CXS. The CXL offers a meaner engine and it’s fitted with a V6 3.0 liter direct injection engine and comes with quality cloth seats and 17 inch wheels as a standard. The engine produces 255 bhp with 211 lb ft of torque and is still paired to a six speed automatic. All wheel drive is also an option with this sedan.
The CXS comes as the top notch model being powered by a 3.6 liter direct injection V6 engine. This comes with a few added features like perforated leather heated and cooled seats, real time active dampening suspension and an 18 inch chrome plated wheels. This beast produces 280 bhp with 261 lb ft of torque.
