The Bugatti Veyron is a super car that once ruled the road for being the fastest car that is being sold in production. Right now it’s ready to claim its glory back with the 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. On July 3, 2010 at the race track of Volkswagen Group in Ehra Lehssien, a new land speed record was achieved by the new Veyron 16.4 Super Sport reaching the top Speed of 268 mph.
The new land speed record was witnessed by Guinness and placed Bugatti back again to the record books. This was achieved by the help of 4 turbo chargers with intercoolers that were specifically made bigger for greater power and the engine can give out an enormous 1,200 bhp. The first five Bugatti Veyron Super Sports will be an exclusive breed having the same specification with the car that broke the speed record and will be known as the World Record Edition.
The other models’ top speed will be electronically limited due to safety concerns. Almost every thing that the Veyron has on its body is advanced motorsport technology. The quickest way to two points is to travel on a straight line but that already changed because you can now use a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport.
