The Bentley Bentayga is the first SUV produced by the company. It is, if we are to believe Bentley, the fastest, most luxurious, most exclusive and the best SUV in the world. Not that we have trust issues, but with claims like this, it is better for this car to be very, very good.
AutoExpress from UK tested it and made a rather nice review about it. The most important thing is that the Bentayga is definitely the most refined SUV ever. This car was revealed a few months ago and it showed just how greedy the world can be. This thing is big, it is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 engine producing more than 600hp and the sheer drama about it follows every single bit of opulence Bentley was built up upon.
Amazingly enough, the main reviewer of the AutoExpress teaches us that the Bentayga is actually a good SUV to drive. It gets the dynamics of some smaller cars and even translates the excitement of sporty saloons. As we have learned before, the underpinnings of the Bentayga were actually translated from the new Volkswagen built platform on which the new Porsche Cayenne will be built. Amazingly, the car will also receive a Diesel engine, which is a first for a Bentley. The hybrid version is also in the works.
