Audi will not be left out when it comes to beauty and perfection to the 2010 Paris Motor Show. It’s definitely a supercar of the future as the technology placed under its hood is just pure madness and way ahead of our time.
This super car is a plug in hybrid that is powered by a 64 KWelectric motor at the front wheels and this is paired with a massive 3.0 liter 224 KW V6 turbodiesel TDI engine connected to a dual clutch seven speed transmission.
The e tron Spyder can produce enormous torque totaling to 1002 Nm, 650 Nm of which came from its diesel engine and 352 Nm from its electric motor. A torque vectoring e-quattro system has been devised to manage this colossal power.
This state of the art technology will detonate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds until it reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. The e-tron Spyder can run on an all electric mode for a distance of 50 km but with both power plants running this can reach 1000 km/h.
