What the hell is going on with so many Mustang owners crushing cars when leaving Cars & Coffee events!? These aren’t even isolated events as every few weeks we are witnessing a viral video of the Mustangs crashing at some car meet. Now, if we science the “shit” out of it, we can actually justify all this. See, the Mustang is the most popular sports car in the world. It is cheap, fast and cool in some sense. Many people buy it. And a lot of people buying it are actually car enthusiasts who enjoy everything car related – and are all about Mustangs.
On the other hand, people who film this stuff for YouTube want something viral more than anything in the world. And they film Mustangs, like a lot. So, Mustangs are the most common sports cars out there and people film them at all time at all costs. No wonder then they can catch every mistake their drivers can make. In that regard, it may be that, on average, Mustang owners do not crash their cars more often than others. It’s just that there are much more of them attending this kind of events than there are drivers of other cars.
The latest accident involving the Mustang and his hyped up driver happened at Wichita, Kansas Cars and Coffee. Driving his Mustang with Roush Stage 3 tuning kit, the owner had a plan to show off some of his skills, but he almost steered the car onto the grass. Luckily, the car only grazed the dirt by the road, but it goes to show that there’s more to driving enthusiastically than just a nice engine. Skill is what is needed.
