The best commercials and marketing efforts in the world of motoring are usually made by car companies, but if you dig a bit deeper you could find some incredibly creative marketing formations from companies who produce trucks. Yes, Trucks and Volvo pretty much dominate them all. To prove the point, the Swedish company, which has been absolutely separated from the Volvo Cars in 2000, revealed a new video showing the pinnacle of marketing.
What they did is rigged up their toughest truck – the FMX with all kinds of actuators and devices enabling them to control the truck with a small remote controller. Then, the team made an awesome route in some Swedish query. The route looks a bit like a videogame playground. And when you thought that some race will ensue, the remote controller was handed to a young girl. How young? The 4-year old Sophie got the remote control and the carnage could begin.
Just two days after the video went public YouTube recorded more than 1.2 million views. Yes, the thing went viral and the best thing for you is to watch it and enjoy this awesome truck driving mayhem. This truck was sacrificed for marketing purposes and we cannot really say anything else except thank you. What the team did showed that their toughest truck can endure some serious beating. Like, really serious.
