Subaru Impreza, which has dominated the rally world for years, has made a new package for this piece of madness. The redesigned version was recently released ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show and features vast improvement over its predecessor. This will be available in a four or five door body style and appears to be more muscular with its restyled rear window, aggressive wheel arches and the body is highlighted by its chrome accents.
Subaru claims that the interior will be roomier and will be provided with a higher level of comfort and refinement. This car manufacturer is still keeping the car’s performance under their folders but they’re likely to use the new developed 2.0 liter Boxer engine. The muscle under the hood can produce 146 bhp with 145 lb ft of torque. This is a respectable amount of power coming from a sedan and with car tuners around, it will only take a small amount of time and this will surely enter their lab of insanity!
Subaru also said that this will have the best fuel economy of any all wheel drive vehicle in the U.S. achieving 36 mpg fuel efficiency. This car is made to be more of a family car rather than a street performer and the Impreza name tag may be given a different view this time around.
